H1N1 death toll rises to four in the Sultanate of Oman

MUSCAT — With two Omani women — aged 40 and 70 — succumbing to H1N1 yesterday, the pandemic has claimed four lives in the Sultanate, the follow up panel said. Meanwhile, the Health, Higher Education and Manpower ministries yesterday held a joint meeting at the Health Ministry to decide on preventive measures to be adopted to check the spread of the disease among students. Officials have decided to form follow-up teams in institutions, besides agreeing to raise awareness among students.
