Omantel introduces new packages on mobile broadband Internet

MUSCAT — Oman Mobile recently introduced five mobile broadband Internet packages to post paid Mada customers and the packages have been highly welcomed at the Salalah Tourism Festival. Oman Mobile, the Sultanate’s leading mobile operator is the diamond sponsor of Salalah Tourism Festival 2009. It strives to provide customers with scintillating offers which satisfy the needs of all segments of the society. Mada post paid customers can select from five different packages depending on their unique needs. There are twohourly based packages; 10 hour packaged priced at RO5 with unlimited download and the 30 hour package priced at RO10 with unlimited usage. There are also three data based packages which are: 1GB for RO19 with unlimited usage, 15GB for RO34 with unlimited usage and the 30GB package for RO59 with unlimited usage as well. Furthermore, Oman Mobile sells 3.5G modem devices at all Omantel and Oman Mobile outlets. If customers already have a modem from another operator, all that is needed is to change the setting to ‘TAIF’ and place Oman Mobile SIM card in the modem.
